Today, I learned that Turks used to say, if you make a cup of coffee for someone, he will be your friend for 40 years. During a coffee-making masterclass, I understood why, because it takes a lot of effort to make perfect Turkish coffee. Firstly, you grind coffee beans. It's not easy and requires strength. Then, you mix the coffee and water and slowly boil it using a secret technique. Only after that, you serve a cup of coffee with Turkish delight. The most fun part started when we tried fortune telling. We exchanged cups and tried to predict the future using a special note. The atmosphere was so positive and friendly that 3 hours flew by quickly. We all received certificates and memorable gifts. So, I definitely recommend this masterclass to better understand Turkish culture and spend quality time in Istanbul.
