I booked a day trip to Death Valley and found out... Death Valley is alive! Here's some of my favorite spots we visited. I couldn't believe the diversity – and surprisingly, the really great food that was available. We traveled to so many destinations, it made me feel like I was on a tour of a whole different world. We saw burrows in the wild, amazing rare natural lakes, sand dunes, ghost towns, and caught an amazing sunset to top it all off.
