Jessica's Review of Get Your Guide's Howth Coastal Boat Tour

Today, I learned that Ireland is even more beautiful from the sea. We started our journey by grabbing a coffee in the cute fishing village of Howth and drank it by the harbor. While waiting for our boat, we met our skipper, Shane, who was so friendly and told us that he named his boat after the Christy Moore song, "The Voyage." We then set sail on the Irish Sea to the sounds of U2 playing on the stereo. Shane was full of information and told us all about the history of Howth, including its Norse origins. He also gave us an introduction to some Irish folklore and mythology, which was absolutely fascinating. Shane made sure to point out all of the different wildlife we passed on our travels, such as seals and various birds living in the area. On our way back, we listened to more Irish tunes before we got off the boat and took a stroll along the pier where we saw some seals up close. They were so cute. Then, we had a drink and some delicious Irish seafood. It was absolutely perfect.
