Today, I learned that a hundred years ago, Dresden had the largest number of chocolate factories, and the advent calendar was actually invented here! During our visit to the Dresden Chocolate Museum, we learned so many interesting facts about chocolate. But before all that, we also got the chance to explore a bit of Dresden. We wandered around the old town, admiring the architecture and learning about the history behind it. The details of each building and the stories told by our tour guide kept us fascinated. After our walk through the historical part of Dresden, we went to the chocolate museum, which was also located right in the city center. It was really cool to find out how different chocolate can taste depending on how it was produced. We sampled various chocolates, noticing the subtle differences in taste and texture.
