What I find especially exciting is the new Trail Run mode. During your run, you get information on elevation gain, inclines and your route right on your wrist, and with up to five thousand nits, the display remains clearly visible even in direct sunlight. It also comes with an 800mAh battery with up to 60 hours of battery life with the Always-On Display enabled and fast charging. For me, that makes the Ultra 2 less of a normal smartwatch, and more of a real outdoor tool that you can still wear every day.
